Hidden in the heart of Lindos, behind a tall stone wall, is one of the most impressive villas in Lindos. This 17th century mansion has a lush surrounding garden; it ensures total privacy. The entrance, via an outdoor patio, is via a majestic stone arcade, which demonstrates Lindian architecture in all its splendour. The large flourishing garden is full of colourful flowers and plants, with a lovely outdoor dining corner shaded by age-old grape vines and fig trees. The stone Mansion is built on three levels: on the ground floor is a spacious vaulted sala decorated with antique furniture, local crafts and paintings. The mansion's floors are still paved with Koklaki, small white and black pebbles in different patterns. On the other side of the sala, a wooden platform invites guests to sit and relax.
It is not pristine and everything has a slightly worn feel which we believe gives the house its character. It is not for the client who is looking for air-conditioning, convenience and perfection but offers a chance to live in the past at a reasonable price.
You can hold your wedding or reception (or both) within the grounds of the villa, either in the courtyard near the entrance or the garden behind.
